We absolutely want Restorative Exercise™/Alignment enthusiasts of all levels, especially if you’re new to it and have been doing your best to achieve whole body alignment and wellness at home. You don’t have to be able to do a perfect squat (I can’t yet!) or hang from the monkey bars for 20 minutes, or be able to keep your ribs down for any period of time. It took some of us years to be able to do any of that, and some of us (ahem, MOI) are still working on it. It’s a lifelong process. We just want to hang out with you and help you get some objective eyeballs on your beautiful bod. 🙂
All of the classes we’ll be teaching will be gentle, basic, and easy-peasy. If you can’t do something, it’s okay. If you can, hooray! All of it is perfectly fine. Kathryn and I will be available for a small fee or exchange of services (do you can pickles?! I’ll take ’em!) if you would like a one-on-one session for a more individualized experience, but really what we’re trying to achieve is community. We want to provide a weekend for like-minded people to get together and celebrate our align-nerdiness.
I also see this as an opportunity for networking. Do you can pickles? (I love pickles) Do you make purses out of plastic grocery bags? Any and all mama/non-mama entrepreneurs are welcome and encouraged to bring their goodies to share and exchange. I trust this community of people that none of us will be pushy or sleazy. 🙂 I have a portable table if there are any massage therapists coming who’d like to work their magic while we’re there. Just let me know.
